How long has The Coyote Wore Sideburns been in business? The Coyote Wore Sideburns was established in 1988. Who owns The Coyote Wore Sideburns? The Coyote Wore Sideburns owned by Signe Razzi and Carmelo Guagliardo, both stylists at the salon. How long has each stylist been doing hair? The range of experience can vary. In most cases our entry level employees have 1-3 years experience. Our range of experience at the time of this writing is 6 years at it's minimum to almost 40. Who came up with the name for the salon? We will blame Signe for this one! A true stroke of Genius! Do you sell beauty supplies? We are a retail center, and will order anything you desire, however we do not sell professional chemicals like hair-coloring chemicals, permanent waves, bleaches or peroxides. Who did all the painting of the salon? Once again we will blame Signe for this! At her direction and with the help of some friends and family, she has created the most fun and interesting interior of any beauty salon on the face of the Earth. Hmmm. Did I overstate it? I think not. You'll have to see it to believe it!

About Our Services

What kind of services do you offer? We offer haircuts, permanent waves, and hair coloring using various new and innovative techniques combined with tried and true methods. We also do Mehendi-temporary henna tattoos on the hands and body. Do you do Crazy Colors? We do all kinds of hair-color including but not limited to vibrant primary colors using various methods and products. Do you have stylists that specialize in particular types of hair? We boast that all our stylists excell in all facets of hair-cutting. If your hair will do it and they think it will work for you then they can do it! You should discuss your desires with your stylist. Do you do normal haircuts as well? We do all kinds of haircuts! We of course get excited when we can use our skills to their fullest and can work with a willing client! Do you do dreadlocks? Sorry no. Do you do hairwraps? Sorry no.

About our Pricing

The price of a haircut from all stylists is $35.00 We're sorry, haircut prices are not negotiable. Regarding Chemical Services Pricing We advise our employees not to quote prices over the phone for chemical services, though you might be able to squeeze one out of them! The key factor is technique and the processes needed to obtain the end result. This will be discussed by your Stylist and there are never any suprise charges at the reception desk. Free Consultations Any of our fine stylists would be happy to give you a free consultation informing you the price on the cut, color or perm and the technique they suggest. Remember, the quote is for that stylist only! We pride ourselves in our casual but professional atmosphere, so feel free to schedule a consultation with a stylist or just drop by and watch us work.

About Your Hair

How often should I cut my hair? On average 6 weeks give or take. How do I protect my hair from chlorine? If you can't stay out of the pool you might want to visit our retail center. We have products that remove chlorine and trace metals, which come in the form of shampoos or conditioners. Try to shampoo before your hair dries with the chlorine in it. What can I do about the Frizzies? Depending upon the cause, you might need a haircut, you might need a conditioning treatment, or possibly a finishing product designed to tame the frizzies. What is the difference between a perm and a body wave? The products used and the methods are the same, only the size of the rod and the resulting curl varies. How often should I deep condition? At least once a week for 15 minutes, preferably with heat, supplemented with a lighter weight daily conditioner. Can I perm and color during the same appointment? There are semi permanent haircolors available to us which can be used safely after a permanent wave service. I just colored my own hair and now I find myself in trouble.....What do I do? About Our Products

I'm looking for a product not on your shelf, How do I get it? With the amount of product lines we stock daily it is impossible to carry every item the company manufacturers. We would be more than happy to add to our inventory or order a special item for you at no additional charge. Why is there alcohol in hairsprays and gels, etc? This keeps the products in liquid form, until is is sprayed from the container, alcohol also liberates the moisture from the product once exposed to the air and this is why high alcohol products dry quicker. Are your products Cruelty Free? We do our best to provide Cruelty Free products.
